What I do...
I am mostly a corpus linguist with a recent interest in experimental methods of collecting linguistic data. My interests center on elliptical constructions (Verb phrase ellipsis and sluicing in particular), preposition placement and constructional changes in the history of English. Lately, I've been engaged on a project investigating the acceptability of preposition omission under sluicing, fragment answers, and gapping across languages. This (exciting) project involves psycholinguistic experimentation.
